Profiling
The registration is based around one page of questions that the member has to fill out. Here the most important data such as name, post code, email, mobile number and high-level interests are entered. Following the activation, the member is encouraged to further profile himself. For example, if an interest in Music was initially given, the member can choose from a wide range of music categories to specify his interest in more detail.
Permission and Privacy
Opt-in and permission is key to successful mobile marketing. Member can opt-in to JumpTXT by the web and/or SMS. User records are encrypted and maintained at very high technical standards. Members give a clear opt-in for receiving promotional messages tailored to their interests, and unsubscription mechanisms are offered via email or SMS. Upon registration, members can also set the amount of messages they are willing to receive.
Data Quality
Double opt-in:
During registration, the member is encouraged to keep his mobile phone switched on. A unique activation code is sent to the mobile number given at registration, and the member is instructed to enter this in a field to activate their profile. This way, a match between profile data and mobile number is guaranteed, and any risk of spamming is mitigated.
Loyalty Program
Central to the platform and community is the loyalty program, where members collect JumpTXT points for receiving promotions via email or SMS.
